Safety and security are increasingly significant factors in the development of the sustainable tourism business and destinations. A holistic approach is needed in order to create and support a safe tourism business environment. The Multidimensional Tourism Institute (MTI) emphasizes cooperation between the public and private sectors, and people, via its key method: mutual problem solving. MTI offers versatile solutions to solving the mounting challenges faced at tourism destinations. We are Finland’s leading expert in the field of tourism safety and security. Our safety and security expertise has been evaluated and rewarded by several national bodies. MTI works closely with the regional authorities, municipalities, NGOs and tourism enterprises implementing the official contract with Finland’s Ministry of Interior.
